Dr. Brent Banks is a highly trained and skilled foot and ankle surgeon and the founder of Fort Worth Foot & Ankle. He has experience treating a wide array of foot and ankle conditions from minor problems to complex reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Banks takes pride in having a genuine interest in each and every one of his patients while providing them the utmost compassion and exceptional care.

Dr. Banks received his doctorate from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago in 2008. Dr. Banks’s residency training was completed at Chicago’s Mt. Sinai Medical Center where he received extensive training in lower extremity trauma, diabetic limb salvage, and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle. 

Dr. Banks is well experienced in the most advanced minimally invasive techniques, and has lectured nationally and internationally on minimally invasive foot surgery. He has also worked with medical device companies in designing products for a variety of foot and ankle conditions, including minimally invasive bunion surgery and total ankle replacement surgery.

While not caring for patients at the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Amanda, their two sons Rylan and Everett, as well as their two dogs, two cats and tortoise. As a firm believer in a balanced life, he takes pleasure in cooking (particularly barbecue and wood-fired pizza) and fly fishing.
